Oh I remember you from discord 👀

My only complaint is that it's too short.

This is catchy asf and I'm ngl lokey slaps

It's an absolute banger of course 🔥

This is some pretty sick stuff. Unfortunately I'm not too familiar with this style so I can't really go into to detail as to anything that's really wrong here besides the fact that the vocals have this weird frequency thing going on that I can't put my finger on but besides that it's pretty nice! Sick bro!

guyfromKillerRAT responds:

Not sure what it is about the vocals you are referring to (but then again, even you yourself aren't sure)...

As for not being familiar with this style of music, just check out bands like Foo Fighters, Weezer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, you will hear other bands of this type.

Thanx for tha review brutha

This is so sick and it's such a cool style switch from your old stuff!

WOAH THIS IS REALLY GOOD! I have like no complaints what so ever. You nailed the feeling of an adventure on this song! Feels like it come out of a movie or something! Absolutely extraordinary!

JessieYun responds:

Very glad you enjoyed it! :)))

I would like to start off by saying I think the piano in the beginning should be a bit quieter and have more reverb to maybe add more feeling to the song. At 1:47 it feels like what sounds like a supersaw (I don't really know) is drowning out everything. Although it's a lead I think the other instruments in that part could come through a bit more. I feel like you could have mixed some parts better like 1:47 or made them louder such as 4:46. I think this part could be louder.

A thing that I really like though is the feeling the song passes off. I also like how you switched up 4:03 so 4:03 and 1:47 aren't just the same. That being said it still does suffer the same problem as 1:47 being the mix. Since the lead is drowning out a lot of things, it makes the part sound less full.

Overall it's not bad at all and I actually really enjoyed! Good job!

OVERSCORE responds:

I see what you are saying about the 1:47 and 4:46 parts. The things being drowned out are meant to fill in the spaces where the lead supersaw isn't playing. I do agree that maybe the supersaw could definitely be quieter, but I think I'm fine with it that way. I'm really bad at mixing and mostly play it by ear. I'm glad you enjoyed it, thanks for leaving a review!

Woah this is really good. My only complaint is that the dynamics stayed relatively the same. Besides that it's really good!

zybor responds:

Thanks, friend. 👍🏽️

It's really repetitive and doesn't really seem like there is much to it. You could try adding more instruments to it and to try and get the "cavey" sound you could mess with the reverb on some instruments. I trumpet could sound cool. I think for a mine you should go for something my ambient (in my opinion.)

name responds:

Thanks for your comment. The xylophone is the pickaxe, while the chip noise is the bomb.

I really like it but I feel like it could be a bit more chill. What I mean by that is that it feels a bit too intense, but besides that it's really nice.

Xorberax responds:

thanks for your feedback!
