I'm not the biggest fan of the choice of snare at 1:08. I really enjoy the chill vibe of this. I would've liked to hear some more interesting chords and perhaps just a bit more variety but that is also specific to the chord progression.

the "snare" @ 1:08 is a kick drum
the reason it's not 3+ minutes is so it would feel like it was dragging out or too repetitive.
I'm not super creative with chords.
But thanks for the comment and for listening to my song, it means a lot! :)
Finally some nice ambience
I really enjoy the composition! That being said, some things sound like they have too much low end. The bursts of energy that starts at 0:45 sound like they're lacking. They don't really have much power to them. Also I feel like the track overall could benefit from some mastering. Pretty well done!
The notes that the vocals hit don't match the song and this becomes apparent at 1:20. I feel like this may because you didn't like the sound of it when it did match because it either sounded like a deep voice or a too high pitched one. It still brings it down for me since it creates dissonance. I really enjoy this song and the vocals are my only issue with it.
Rave music
I'm not the biggest fan of how the vocals were mixed in. If they sounded more in the background, they would sound better imo. Some parts I think they can stay where they are though such as 1:20. Another thing is the beginning sounds cluttered so I recommend adjusting your levels. What sounds like a bell in the beginning immediately gets drowned out by the pads. It would sound better, in my opinion, if the bell was actually more prominent than the pads. At 0:35 the vocals sound like they're overtaking to the point where I can't really hear the progression of the pads. I recommend turning the pads up or turning the vocals down. Some violins in this would be nice. The ending wasn't all the satisfying in my opinion. I really like the chord progression! As far as comp goes it doesn't sound bad.
I actually really appreciate this detailed feedback, thank you! I've still got a lot to learn so everything helps me immensely.
The song is loud but it lacks a lot of texture and some parts just sound empty. The drops feel very lacking due to a lack of texture. I recommend more layering and perhaps adding more variety to your composition. That and adjusting your volume in some parts. Maybe add some quieter bits like when the piano plays. Maybe take the snare out sometimes and switch up the beat more often.
Thank for the advice!
The song sounds really muddy but I really enjoy the composition! There's a lack of separation between some of your instruments so I recommend adjusting your levels a bit more, panning perhaps and some EQing as well. The low end is a bit much at the moment. Not bad though! Definitely reminds me of an old school SNES game.
The beat that starts at 0:17 starts to get really repetitive so I recommend switching it up a bit. I feel like a different approach could've been better for this song imo. I like the violins that come in later but they sound kind of muddy. The piano later on sounds a bit too loud. I really like the glitch effect at the end as well as the other ones. This a lot more hip hop than dubstep.
tysm for the feedback! Cleaning that stuff up rn! Thanks for listening!!
This is pretty nice but I found myself looking for something a bit more like more like maybe a higher level of energy somewhere in the song or maybe some more things layered. It sounds pretty clean though!
