So the song is really muddy so I would take an EQ and cut the low end out of the things that don't need it. The muddy sound can range from 32 to like 900 hertz, maybe more. You can just put an EQ band on peak and go between the frequencies until you find that really muddy sound. I would also look out for unnecessary white noise, which is mainly found at the high end. I find it at like 10k - 20k most of the time. The arrangement is pretty nice. I definitely feels more video gamey. I would leave the pads with some low end btw.

StaggerNight responds:

Thanks! I went back and fixed some of the EQ, hope its better now.

I think you're underrated tbh and this is really nice! It sounds nice and clean and I really like the arrangement! The kids playing in the background really help the song have a nice setting and the piano near the end that sounds like it has a lowpass really benefits the atmosphere imo. It sounds like there's a reverse sound at like 0:04 that adds a nice texture to the song. Idk if it's reversed or it just came like. My only complaint s that I feel like a bit of low end should be cut out of the piano at 0:13. Really well done!

I don't know why but it sounds just a bit unbalanced. Maybe the melody is a bit too loud. It's pretty nice and chill though.

Sounds like Cysmix. I really like that transition at 0:41 but I think you should tone down that plucking a bit and maybe automate the volume of it so it goes up and down slowly. I just think that would sound very cool but that's just me. Also why is there like almost a minute of silence at the end AXIS!?

Callaxis responds:

That minute is my bad lol, but i’m not gonna work more on this because it’s just a cool unfinished demo i found in my archives.

I wish this was a bit more spacious because somethings sound like they're combating each other. It's missing that atmosphere imo. So I think the mixing could use some work. I think a bit of reverb on some instruments could help - with some low cut so things in the low end don't start clashing. It's very video gamey instead of cinematic imo but not bad.

I think your piano has a bit too much low end so it sounds a bit muddy. I think the choir should be more towards the back off the mix/in the background of the song. At 0:48 I think there's a snare that's giving off a lot of white noise which I'm not the biggest fan of. Maybe of things were reorganized, it might sit better in the mix. Overall I think it's really nice but it's missing that since of clarity due to it being a bit messy.

Thanks for the feedbacks, i will trying to fix this

I think this is a really nice jummbox song. I don't know if jummbox has EQ so I can't really say much about the mix. All I can recommend is bandlabs or cakewalk since those DAW's are free and have more options.

WingedHarmony responds:

I'm just reuploading some old music from 2020 that I made. I had posted it on here originally on another account, however it's seemingly disappeared, and I can't remember if I deleted it myself or not. Either way, there's gonna be a big music dump going on. I'm moving away from this type of music, and my next projects will hopefully be much more in-line with indie-rock stuff now that I actually have the instruments along with FL.

Ah a fellow FL Mobile user. I think the mix needs to be cleaned up a bit. Some things need to be separated so there's a cleaner sound. Also I like the bass at 2:33. It's not bad, just needs some clean up.
