The transition at 1:27 needs to be a lot smoother because it's really sudden. The beginning got really repetitive. Like lotuspath said you should probably tone down those liquid sounds because it drowns everything out (no pun intended.) The ending doesn't really feel defined either.

Overall It's a very interesting idea that I think could have been executed better.

A some parts are dynamic with a lot of energy to them and some parts are pretty simple with a lot of energy to make it simple but really effective. It has a really nice start that isn't special in particular. Just a nice simple beat to start off. The transitions felt really smooth except the one at 1:10 felt kind of iffy to me. 1:57 is just absolutely amazing because it's what I was talking about earlier where it's simple with a lot of energy to it with an occasional sound included so it's really effective. The melody sounds so good as well and the overall song is just super catchy. The way the melody (I think it's a melody 🤔) was introduced in 1:26 was absolutely amazing as well and I think it did a super good job of setting up the drop.

Overall amazing song and I look forward to hearing more things from you! This was amazing!

Ngl this kind of gives me shapes and beats vibes.

The song ends rather abruptly so I think you need a more defined ending. 1:57 that bass is drowning out that playful sounds in the song and it seems the song is trying to pass off a playful vibe so I think you should lower that bass. Same goes for 0:49. I also think the song could have added a bit more sounds to it as well.

Overall I think this could use some work but it's not that bad so good job! Kind of feels like a game song.

Thank you! I will have to adjust the bass, i just really wanted it to stand out because of how odd and crunchy it is. I reuploaded the audio because the abrupt ending was a rendering error. I love when i stumble across weird synth noises that fit well with what im trying to make. What kind of sounds do you think would be nice? I might try to add some chords now.

2:40 has this build up before and it said drop the beat but it didn't really contrast any other parts of the song. I kind of expected that part to be a bit more different. I think you should have made the whisper a bit lower to help set the mood of the song a bit better. The main thing that changes in the song are the voices so I think the song could have benefited from being a bit more dynamic. Now it has a nice beat to it and it gives a chill kind of operation vibe to it so that's nice. Like a stake out scene in a movie.

Overall the only thing I have to say is that I think it needs to be a bit more dynamic. Besides that I don't think it's bad and I think it's really chill and vibey.

DigitalProdigy responds:

I agree 100% about the drop, and the build up. That's a mixing issue I am still working on. I am still learning how to make drops bigger, from increasing the volume of the drop tracks to make it seem bigger after the buildup, to changing the dynamics.
Thank you so much for the review.
This is how we as musicians get better with feedback for our songs.

The song ends rather abruptly and the overall song fills pretty flat. It doesn't really pass much feeling (in my opinion.) It's simple with not much to make up for it. I recommend making it more dynamic and/or adding more energy to it. That way it can feel more memorable. The composition also feels pretty off mainly when the song starts off due to the beginning feeling kind of rushed. You could try a synth or a sub bass as a background noise in the beginning to assist the feeling aspect.

I feel every song has potential so I think this can be something great like a memorable song from a game. I think you should drive inspiration from those old school games that have those nostalgic soundtracks to them. Like some old Legend of Zelda songs or some old school Mario games.

Overall I feel it needs some work done to it but keep going! Also I think it's creative to use the chords on terraria.

This is more synthwave. The ending got really repetitive. It gives off a nice feeling though. Perhaps it could've been just a tad bit more dynamic. Other than that I really like. Good job!

Saucerpan responds:

thanks for the feedback yo

I think you should try a more defined ending but other than that this is cool! Good job!
