I really enjoyed the composition of this piece and the counterpoint is quite nice! The track sounds like it has character to it!

Thanks so much! I appreciate that a lot!
Your track sounds kind of lowpassy and a bit muddy. It sounds like some of your instruments could be thinned out a bit more with an EQ. The G# at 0:51 sounds very out of place. The main thing is the track just needs more clarity to it. The composition isn't bad though.
I really need to use accidentals properly. Thanks for the feedback though
Holy damn this is beautiful! Very well done! Sounds like it could use some mastering but it could just be I listened to a louder track before this. Other than that the composition is amazing! I'll definitely be sending for a frontpage!
Edit: Nevermind it already got frontpaged
I actually neglected to mention but it was mixed and mastered by Dennis Sands - I don't really have access to the same hardware or impeccable ears so my mix would sound quite worse, haha. They really played with a lot of dynamic contrast so we let the finished product have a bit of range and be overall a bit lower than most commercial stuff. Thanks so much for the feedback, and I appreciate the support!
Sounds pretty nice but your instruments sound very dry and I recommend a better choir sample even if it is a video game song because they sound very low quality. The song's composition is very nice but falls a bit flat on the mix. It sounds like you need more space for your lead instruments. The repeat brings it down tbh.
I really appreciate the feedback, there is some really helpful stuff in here. Thanks for lending your ear :)
The only thing I will recommend is a countermelody at 1:21 but I really enjoyed this! Highly underrated song! The fade out of the rain in the beginning to the song was very nice and I like how it ended how it started although the ending feels a bit long.
Gotta agree on that yeah, that melody might go on for a bit too long, and the ambie ce at the end might be too long as well if its in a playlist or something sorrzz, also thx for the feedback :D... Though sorry its probably not underrated anymore since frontpage heheh
Very well done! The mix sounds pretty nice.
Thank you!
I feel as if this could have been expanded upon much greater. My main issue is that the piano sounds very bare and it doesn't really have many interesting qualities going for it. I would recommend messing the velocity a bit more. I would actually like to make a version of this as well as I actually kind of enjoy the arrangement.
Yes, I agree with you, that’s exactly what I’m doing, it just takes a little time, this project has been lying on my computer for half a year, and only recently I remembered about it
remember this is just a demo
Pretty sick bro!
thank yoy :)
It's all good man. Honestly I need to update my feedback anyway since I have a better understanding of some things now. So the growl or what I'm assuming is a distorted electric guitar is overpowering everything in the mix. Just turn it down and I think some things should be fine. I recommend making some more room for the pad in the beginning by cutting some low end on your other instruments. The kick and snare could cut through better and I think your snare sample is kind of weak for this song so I recommend choosing a different one. The transition at 3:47 sounded quite abrupt. I like the idea but I think compositionally it could be a bit less repetitive and flow better. Also the feedback I gave before wasn't that good anyway tbh.
Hey, I know it might be a little late for this and you might not even see this, but I just wanted to say I'm sorry. The way I chose to reply to you was rude and it's been heavy on my mind since. I mean, you took your time to give me feedback, not because I asked you to or because you felt you had to.. but because you wanted to. That means a lot to me now even though I didn't see it back then. Though it's probably too late for this, I wanted to say thank you and that I'm sorry.
